MODERN CONDO RENOVATION, MISSISAUGA.

Once just a bare condo lacking any distinctive character, the space underwent a remarkable transformation to accommodate the needs of a couple embarking on a downsizing journey. With a clear vision of their ideal daily living environment, they embarked on a quest to infuse their home with comfort and functionality despite their increased time spent travelling.

Realizing the lack of storage and aesthetic appeal, the couple dove into a joint effort to rejuvenate their dwelling. From the project's outset, meticulous attention and purposeful design were key. They curated custom features like a unique wine rack, a hidden office nook, a delightful coffee bar, and tailored storage solutions for their walk-in closet. Throughout, seamless communication between our designers and clients ensured each detail aligned with the overall vision. Every element underwent thorough scrutiny, resulting in a harmonious blend of style and functionality.

The Details

In the midst of an already cozy kitchen setup, the client craved a bit more storage. But their vision went beyond practicality—they dreamed of a stunning wine display to show off their collection. Teaming up with Chervin, they brought this dream to life, even incorporating a fancy refrigeration system they already had installed. With warm walnut and clever lighting, Chervin built a show-stopping wine cabinet that not only wowed in the kitchen but also screamed, "This is exactly what the client wanted!"

But this project wasn't just about looks. It demanded some creative problem-solving, like hiding a coffee bar in the living room and adding a roll-out countertop in the kitchen for easy entertaining. Ultimately, the goal was to create a space that felt modern, elegant, and totally tailored to the client's taste—a home where every detail, from the textured walls to the custom cabinetry, felt just right.

The Materials

In crafting this project, a thoughtful selection of materials was paramount to achieving both aesthetic allure and practical functionality. Walnut took centre stage, adorning the living room's wine rack and cabinet storage, lending a rich, timeless elegance to the space. Meanwhile, the strategic use of lighting throughout imbued every corner with a cozy ambience, elevating the atmosphere.


The Neolith porcelain fireplace emerged as a striking focal point adding a touch of modern convenience to the traditional warmth it exuded. Glass doors and painted cabinetry adorned the master bedroom closet, imparting an air of sophistication that captivated the eye.
