Project Foreman is a thoughtfully designed, dual-level space that seamlessly connects the kitchen to the lower-level living space. Anchored by a striking multi-functional island, this design bridges everyday cooking with relaxed entertaining, allowing the kitchen and family room to operate as one cohesive environment while maintaining distinct functions on each level.

The Details

The kitchen is arranged in a U-shaped layout with a peninsula, grounded by vertical-grain rift white oak cabinetry that delivers a clean, contemporary aesthetic. A custom range hood wrapped in matching material creates a strong focal point, flanked by satin glass upper cabinets framed in matte black metal for an airy yet structured feel.

On the kitchen side, the generous island provides ample prep space and storage, while on the opposite side, stepping down into the living room, the island transforms into a relaxed wet bar complete with open shelving and integrated beverage fridges, encouraging easy flow between levels.

The Materials

The kitchen cabinetry features rift white oak slab doors and drawers paired with brushed nickel pulls, offering a sleek, understated finish. White Dekton countertops and a full-height backsplash bring brightness and durability to the space and continue seamlessly onto the custom range hood. Black metal–framed satin glass cabinetry is accented with coordinating black edge pulls.

In contrast, the living room wet bar is crafted from rift red oak in a warm grey stain and finished with a grey Dekton countertop, creating a subtle distinction between kitchen and entertaining zones while maintaining a cohesive overall palette.
