Hi, I am Marvin.

I lead our Waterloo Sales & Design Team.

I thrive on leading our Waterloo sales team to deliver exceptional service and craftsmanship; outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and five children.

Joined The Chervin Family (professionally):

  • 1994
  • I installed cabinets with my brother Kevin when we were teenagers in Manitoba; after I got married in 1994, I started full-time with Chervin
  • Started as Primary installer, and also a cabinet maker
  • As the company grew, I took on new responsibilities and now am the Regional Director of Sales for Chervin Kitchen in Waterloo.

I love my kitchen (we renovated in 2012) – it has stained cabinets (cappuccino stain on maple); if I were building a new home, I would tend toward a mix of walnut and cream/off-white colours.

  • If you’re building a new home: think about your appliances first (what you have seen or used that you liked). If you’re renovating your home: be observant of what you dislike about your current space (for example, poor functionality or layout).
