Project Island Park Boathouse Design Details

The Details

At the heart of the space is a generously scaled two-tier island, thoughtfully designed to accommodate both prep and socializing. The lower tier houses a sink and functional workspace, while the raised tier provides comfortable seating for up to six, creating a natural gathering point.

The cabinetry features clean slab doors and drawers with integrated finger pulls, complemented by gold hardware on the panel-ready dishwasher and beverage fridge for a subtle touch of warmth. A warm grey perimeter pairs with a bold charcoal island, enhanced by structured island posts that ground the design.

Along the side, full-height cabinetry offers dedicated storage for boating essentials like life jackets, keeping the space organized and clutter-free. White oak floating shelves with integrated LED lighting span the length of the full-height backsplash, adding warmth and display space while softening the modern lines.

The Materials

Built for performance in a lakeside environment, the bar is crafted with marine-grade cabinetry to ensure long-lasting durability and resilience.
