ARCHITECTURAL CONSOLE FOR OPEN-CONCEPT DIVISION

At Project Chalet, the lounge features a brilliantly executed custom console that serves as both a striking focal point and a functional room divider. Positioned between the front entryway and lounge, this console preserves the open-concept flow while providing subtle spatial separation. Its clean, low profile allows light and sightlines to pass through, creating a seamless connection between spaces without closing them off.

Crafted from rift-cut red oak and finished in a rich black stain, the console complements the main floor’s cohesive material palette. The entry-facing side features practical storage with three top drawers using integrated finger pulls and a lower row of flip-down drawer fronts—all designed for a sleek, slab-style appearance. Between these storage sections lies open shelving for curated display, visible from both sides. The lounge-facing side of the unit is outfitted with minimalist slab paneling for a refined, unobtrusive finish.

This multifunctional console perfectly blends thoughtful design and practical elegance—an intentional architectural gesture that supports both the home's flow and function.
